Firstly, hope you had as amazing a time as we did!

Secondly, check your bank, credit card or however you paid for the cruise. You should have a small refund for not porting at Villefranche.

I didn't know about this until someone posted on the FB group, but I checked my FairFx card and found a refund of $15.86

We hadn't booked any excursions and didn't have any plans other than to wander round Villefranche. It was cancelled because of high winds which meant the tenders weren't safe to operate, so instead we had a sea day, and went to Marseille the next day instead.

I was really happy with this. I don't think we missed out particularly, but it was a nice gesture.

Its nice to get a little refund! We got one on the WBTA as well for St Johns of around $15.00 which I spotted the other day. I wasn't sure what it was until I posted on a group about it and someone said they had been told it was for the port fees. I had assumed the extra night in New York would have cancelled any refund but it hadn't

They can't charge you for the extra night in NYC as it wasn't your choice to port there an extra day.
It's a rarity that DCL give any money back so woohoooo for us lot!
