Is this walkable? Walmart / Millers

We’re staying onsite but on our first full day (after rope dropping MK of course 😀 ) im planning a trip to Walmart and combining that with an offsite meal.

Quite fancy going to Millers which looks to be close to this Walmart supercentre, at Vineland. Looking on street view it does have a crossing, but the road also looks really big and scary so just wondered if anyone knows if it’s genuinely walkable between the 2. Just me and my 5 year old so don’t want to do anything silly obviously, and I know America is not really designed for walking places

I’d UBER it. However, if you did shopping at Publix, it’s in the same shopping area and an easy walk.

This Google Earth image is before it was built, but where I’ve put a yellow circle is approximately where the Miller’s is now. The red pin is Publix.

Uber is possible but seems crazy to get Uber to the other side of the road 🤣
Plus we’d need the car seat Uber meaning it would be an extra fee.

Really want to go to Walmart or target so I’ll go back to the map and see which other stores have somewhere close by for food 🤣

There’s a target close to millers down at rolling oaks, wonder if that one is more walkable. Appears to be more crossings around that area.

Thank you. Isn’t it crazy how something can be right across the road but not easily / safely accessible on foot 🤣

I had a friend who took a cab from outside Harrod’s in Knightsbridge, to the other side of the road! But I do get your point.

You could try the Super Target at Rolling Oaks which is then a short walk (on the same side of the road) to Margaritaville. There are loads of eating places to choose from there!

Yes, my husband has just suggested this too! You’d need to cross the 192, but there are crossings at junctions.

That road definitely looks less like a big scary motorway than the other one 🤣🤣

Thanks so much

Looks walkable to me, there is a crossing at the junction. I would walk it probably better than the 192!
