We're going to give the ice show a miss, DH doesn't want to see it, we can book it online if we change our minds
We've booked for the character breakfast, nice tip about the other one.
I'm still on the fence about a soda package - did you bother with one?

Sorry OP for hijacking your thread
We did the soda package Michelle. Went for it in Spain particularly because of the 21% Tax added on top of the 15% gratuity - pushes the price up!
Not sure of any additional taxes applicable if sailing in the Caribbean, you would have to work out the 'break even' amount per day to see if it's worth taking the package or not.

Thank you - so there was not much 'free' drinks available onboard? I think it's £75 for the 13 nights for one. We start off in Spain so it might be worth us just buying it.
They still have not got the soda machines onboard the Liberty have they?

Michelle when we were on Mariner OTS for my 40th the only "free" soft drinks were water, iced tea and Lemonade (US style) in the buffet and coffee definitely and tea I think in the cafe on the promenade. I would imagine Liberty would be similar. If you drink a lot of soda the card would be worth getting. Our boys got one each and we drank a lot of water!

I liked Royal Caribbean and would go with them again, actually looked at the Transatlantic as I have A/L to use but one way flights are pretty steep.

Thanks Mo... I think we will just get the package.

Where are you looking for 1 way flights? We've booked with VA using our miles for this one, but have got Thomas Cook ones for next May, flying out of GLA, for a really good price.
Also Icelandair & Aer Lingus do good one way prices.

we're looking at RC for next year (Indy) so that's good to know.

Have you tried pricing up a return for your TA? We did that this year, then out of courtesy cancelled the return flight the morning we boarded the ship (once we knew we definitely wouldn't be using it!) and it was cheaper than a single trip!

We are now on our 6th day and have arrived in Crete, loving Royal Caribbean, have done NCL before and there's better quality food and entertainment on here!
