Disney dream
Looking into a 3 night cruise
Are they worth doing? Which deck is best? What is there to do at Nassau And how best to get there when staying in a villa |

All Disney cruises are worth fling the three night is a bit short for me but if your first Disney cruise or an add on to WDW it's great,
. Deck, well to be honest the question is how much are you prepared to pay and then fit your budget to the room. All rooms are very good, of course a verandah or suite are best but any room on a cruise is great. I would avoid very forward or very aft, try for midship, try not to be under any bar or main dinning room, or theatre. This is just icing on the cake as said all rooms are nice. Whatever the room you are in the meals, the shows the pools are the same, suites have an upgraded service but apart from that it's all the same. On a three night cruise you will use your room to sleep dress and change, so it doesn't matter. Unless you are a bit claustrophobic or get seasickness then get a midship mid deck room, try for a verandah and get fresh air and view the sea and horizon from the widest angle. Nassau a lot of people go to Atlantis and the watermark there, but there is a straw market, many on a three day cruise stay on ship and enjoy the pools. Getting to Port is easy on the beeline expressway, the 520, is a fast toll road from MCO airport to port canaveral generally the same route as Kenny space centre, maybe pop in there on your way back. It's a toll road, you can get Disney cruise buses to port but for a family there expensive, thru will collect in resort or airport not villa. I would drive a hire car and park at port canaveral it's about $20 a day. You can book direct on DCL website in pounds or by a USA TA who may give you on board credits as well as advice but the price is in dollars. Edited at 04:51 PM. |

There is a travel agent here who posts on this site TOAD, travel on a dream, the owner Tracy Whipple gives excellent service and I would say book with her as she will give you great service and advice.
Google travel on a dream and you will get it. You can book direct but as a first cruise I suggest a USA TA such as TOAD. Edited at 05:04 PM. |

You could also read the sticky thread at the top of this forum as that has a ton of info that lots of cruisers have contributed to.
We love inside rooms on deck 2 but as long as I'm on the ship, I'd happily sleep in the kitchens!
