We are not on the other board, this is the Dibb. Referring to comments made on there doesn't necessarily help our newbies with their bookings. It is well known that US customers are very different to UK ones, perhaps the words would be 'less demanding', so their expectations may be higher than our own.
I have never heard such rubbish as your last sentence too. I am not asking you to stop posting, nor would I ever, I am just asking you to tone down your comments regarding other companies and to curb your references to things that may worry new cruisers for no reason.

Well thanks guys for your advice i didnt realise ww3 was going to break out lol but ive decided to give tracy at ToaD a whirl we have sent a few emails and got quick replies from her and she has made some suggestions as to which rooms we might want to take a look at we think that we are going to book a family concierge suite she suggesting 12508/10 as they have the bigger verandah and will usually be the same side as CC when docked so that sounds good to us,only thing to do now is take the plunge and hand over the deposit !

Sounds amazing, go for it. Also for your comment ' I just don't like boats' that just sums up my DD, she used to hate crossing the channel. So when she got a job with Disney Cruise line to say I was shocked is an understatement . She has been on the Fantasy since Feb 2012 and loves the ship.

Another vote for DU who we've used regularly since 2006 ...yes some of their agents are better than others, but we've never had any problem as such.
That said I would be open to trying other agents...only wish the UK ones could give the same terms but unlike the US ones, they don't appear to offer fee free full refunds (for the vast majority, but not all sailings/cabins) or changes, up to 3 months from sail date. ... to me that's a big plus, over possible negative changes in exchange rates (which can often pay off quite nicely if you are lucky !)

We paid off our May cruise early because the exchange has gone a little higher!
Sounds perfect! Don't forget to rebook whilst on board as you only pay a 10% deposit and you get 10% off. Even if you have no idea of what your future requirements are, you can just ask for a placeholder cruise and once you get home and figure out which cruise ou want, you an move your placeholder to the new dates etc.
