A MAGICal Adventure WBTA / Day 8 Second Sea Day - 13/09/2014

We unfortunately had another disturbed night's sleep because the battery on one of our Wave phones was dying so it was bleeping. We didn't have anything to rush up for so just dozed until 9am, and got up at 9.30am.

It was a bit overcast today so we initially thought we'd head to Lumiere's for a leisurely breakfast but we'd missed it due to our lazy morning, so Cabanas it was!

We needed to go to Guest Services to advise them of our 'early' flight (the Navigator told us to!) but Captain Mickey and Minnie were in the Atrium so we got distracted! I love this piccie!

After we went to Guest Services, we thought we'd sit on deck, and while it was a bit cloudy, oh my it was warm! I was feeling a bit restless so popped down to the shop to pick some things up that I had my eye n – the Transatlantic magnet ($6.95), three character magnets ($4.95) plus another two as gifts, a sketch of Mickey & Minnie on Castaway Cay with the ship in the background ($39.95) (I need to find a frame for it actually!), a DCL 2014 photo frame ($12.95) and a DCL Vinylmation ($12.95...which it turned out we already had at home (oops) so my sister inherited that one!).

After my splurge, I popped up to show Matt, and we chilled for a bit before lunch at Cabanas at 1.30pm.

After lunch I took the shopping back down to the stateroom, and then chilled some more by the pool til 4pm, when Matt wanted to head back as he'd had too much sun! I had a cocktail of the day, which was a Mai Tai, which was $9.72 ($3.50 for the souvenir glass that I HAD to have and $4.95 for the actual drinkie!). Excuse the bikini pic!

We headed down to the show at 6.10pm, and tonight, it was the John Charles family show! We really enjoyed this, though partly knowing what to expect since we'd seen him on the fantasy made it a little less special. We still enjoyed it though!

After the show, we headed down to O'Gills for the 'pub quiz'. We played with Kim and Ross again, I think we'd agreed to meet them there this time! We had two Bahama Mamas and two Cokes at $10.06 per round. We didn't do too badly in the quiz, if memory serves me correctly, but still not a winning score!

Tonight, dinner was at Cariocas for the Flavours of the World menu. The previous night, Victor (our waiter) had forgotten to put bread on our table. We couldn't risk that happening again so we took our own

After dinner, we considered the adult's show, which was tonight Improv Shmimprov in Fathoms, but Matt is super scared of audience participation and he decided it was too risky. We were also tired and had an early start tomorrow so we headed to bed.
