Pinning for the Fjords - Day 2 Day at Sea
Sea days on a Cruise are about relaxing and enjoying the ship. We slept in knowing that the next 4 port days would be early starts, but an alarm was still set as I had for some strange reason booked to be in the Spinning class at 9am. The class was ok and hard work but was very early for a class, and with the planned early start tomorrow I didn't have to sign up for that one. But I did find a great hidden mickey on the bow of the ship.
After a quick shower we headed up to Cabanas for breakfast. With the weather cooling down we grabbed some books and found a quiet spot in Keys to sit and read, and nap. After an hour or two we popped up to the Onboard sales desk and surprise there were open so we had been discussing with our friend we made on the last cruise to try again and had decided on the Western Caribbean itinerary with only 2 sea days. Our friends had book a few weeks back when they had first released the dates as we also wanted to do this at Christmas 2016, so we added our booking at the same time and let our friend know via Whats App so they could join our bookings as Lauren on the desk could not without their permission. Lunch was again at Cabanas and after some more reading, we headed to Palo for the Art of the Theme show tour. We were one of the first to arrive and met Tom from the UK who would be our guide for the tour, but by the time it started we had so many people wanting to be on the tour that we could not all fit in the Captains table room at Palo. and with that many on the tour it was a bit of a slow moving tour but Tom was fun and provide some great little facts about how the ship was designed and planned. Look at the Atrium from above and below and notice the difference in height. After the tour we found some more seats in the lobby area and just relaxed, but getting a bit figgity after a short while I wandered into the DVC group preview, with no real motivation to purchase but at least now I understand better how it all works. We decided to skip the show in the theatre tonight, it was Twice Charmed but we watched on the state room TV whilst we got dressed for dinner as tonight was Formal night. Tonights meal was much better and quicker, but Celia's dessert still lacked any imagination being fruit and sorbet. I was lucky I could have the Grand Marnier Soufflé. So a quiet day was over and we headed to our room as we had an early start tomorrow as we would hike up Pulpit Rock. When we got to the room we had a Towel Bear.

Spinning class? That's dedication.
You both look very smart for the meal.
