I was thinking the same due to the cost of the tickets but I thought along the lines of if I never get to go again I would regret it! And yes you tube videos are great at helping you make your mind up

We went in 2014 and loved it. The plan was to do it on our last night this time - except I mis-timed it and we're leaving before it starts

The times were much shorter - 7DMT was 20 mins and this was when it first opened so times were usually around the 2 hour mark.

My personal opinion is that if you're at Disney when it's on then it's a shame not to, if you've never done it before & if funds allow.

The only thing I would highlight here is that you more than likely won't have enough time to eat and get a good spot for the fireworks.

We did this in September for one of the Halloween parties and it stopped us getting a good spot for Celebrate the Magic/Hallowishes and was a rush to get through dinner (we had a dining reservation at 20:40 and I want to say Hallowishes was at 22:15). We just found that having a table service meal in the middle of the party killed the momentum, so if you can get Be Our Guest another time it might be worth it.

Either way, enjoy! I'm so jealous!

I know I've been thinking that myself! It's been the only one that's came up for our whole trip that fits in to our days at Disney, but I'm searching every day to see if anything else comes up. I obviously got a cancellation because the person who booked it thought the samet hing!

We have done it three times but not doing it thus time - its just too expensive. Parks have always been busy but ride lines quiet. Hot chocolate and cookies were just bland. Parade was superb but IMHO not worth the ticket price if you already have Disney tickets.

Yeh it's true about the cookies and hot choc - it's nothing compared to the trick or treating stations at MK. They need to change the format really - at least different flavour cookies and drinks and each station would be a start.
