Sorcerers of the MK game and magic band

My daughter loves playing this. Last year however the chap in the firehouse said that we had an active game but couldn't use it as we had different magic bands so she started a new game. No issue.
We go back in May and so will have an active game, which she has played a fair bit. We are staying one night at the wilderness lodge so will be issued new bands, can she refuse hers and keep last years?
How would this work?

Don't know about how it will work with sorcerers but you can reuse your band. The battery is meant to last about 2 years. The old and new bands will show up on mde

Ds got a Star Wars band this year so he will be taking that back. His sorcerers game is on that one.

You can have multiple bands on your account. Just take the new one and the old one. They will both work as room keys and park entry.

Fab thank you. She played quite a lot last year and we will have more time in Disney this trip so it'll be a shame to start again, again!
