We have a night booked in August for the Express passes. £203 for 4 of us through travel republic. No intention of making early entry the 1st day, kids will be too tired for the evening or to make the most of it the next day. We'll have breakfast at our resort (have DDP), head to RPR for about 10. Plan to leave the next day late afternoon & be back in Disney for a decent evening meal.

We did early entry the first day and popped back to the hotel about 11am for a snooze, then had a quiet and relaxing pizza lunch at the resort before going back to the park.

It meant we got the benefit of early entry both days, and had a lovely relaxed lunch too.

We did this last year too. It was cheaper than getting them separately. Although it did mean that we had to visit on two consecutive days rather than spreading the days out. However, on the plus side, RPR is a beautiful hotel and we wished we had stayed there longer.

It does somewhat depend on how many there are in your party and how many days you want to visit Universal. If there's only 1 or 2 of you and you only want to visit for one day then it's cheaper to buy the Express passes.

highly recommended, even though we over slept and missed early entry, we soon zipped around the parks no problem. Highlight for the kids was about 10 consecutive goes on the popeye rapids straight on, just because we could. we laughed and laughed. Don't think i would do universal without the folp again especially in peak season. So thrilled we got to keep our room keys as a souvenir too

Hi

We did this at Easter - not having stayed onsite before. RPR is lovely and the FOLP for a one night stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed going back to he hotel having a pit stop having done FOLP all day and then going to citywalk.

A really good tip from this DIBB this one in my opinion!

I would say for two of you may not need it a that time of year- if you are there before HHN?

Strictly speaking we didn't need it. There were two of us, we stayed 2 nights at Portofino Bay in the middle of a 14 day SSR stay, and it was early November and the parks were really quiet. So there's no way we could justify the cost as a saving!

However - it totally transformed our experience and made it into a really relaxing couple of days. I would find it hard to go back to day visits.
