MNSSHP, convince me!

We head of to our favourite place in August and have noticed that we'll be there for the 1st 2 dates of MNSSHP. Having never had the opportunity to go before (always visited earlier in the year) we are considering trying this out. I've looked on the WDW website and am not completly covinced it's good value for our dollars. Does anyone have insight into what you are paying for?

Hi, I think the thing that would put me off, is that it's on in August.

Not a massive Disney fan but did this a few years ago when we took my niece. Loved it and the fireworks are the best I have ever seen.

We did the party last September. You're basically paying for the atmosphere, the Halloween parade, the fireworks and special character meets. You can trick or treat around the park and pick up sweets, we ended up with so much we took most of it home! It was a fun night I would definitely do it if you can!

Any time we visit and MNSSHP is on we go. As has been said the fireworks are great. You can almost walk on a lot of the rides. We usually spend ages going on splash mountain because of no queue. This time we are going in July and are gutted we are missing it. I would definitely recommend it.
