Rope drop on special event days
With Magic Kingdom opening at 7:45am for 'special guests' does this mean there will be a different time for rope drop. We have an adr for 8:00am at crystal palace and it would be great to see the rope drop parade.

Rope drop (castle show) will be when the park officially opens. The 7.45 is probably the early morning event so park will open at 9 that day.

It's a five minute thing on the castle stage. A herald appears and makes an announcement Mickey and some characters appear. There is a countdown and the park officially opens. No songs, no dancing and a shadow of what the rope drop show used to be.
