Landry Card Q

I know if I get a Landry card I can not use the $25 welcome reward on the same visit as the $25 birthday reward. But, is it possible to use one of the rewards on just drinks if not eating a meal? i.e. could we sit at the bar in Yak & Yeti for a couple of beers & use the birthday reward?
We plan to use one of the rewards at Bubba Gump's when we visit Universal.
Thanks in advance

Caught my eye as planning on getting one for our visit. Checked their T&Cs and looks like you can use for drink, but does say some states excluded but can't find which ones

Rewards may be used for food and beverage purchases. Rewards may also be used on retail purchases at participating Landry's outlets. Rewards may not be used to purchase gift cards, gift certificates, rides or games. Rewards may not be used for tax or gratuity and in some states alcohol purchases. Rewards are issued, and must be used, in $25 increments. In addition, there is no carry-over balance for any used rewards; therefore, if member's purchase is for less than the reward amount, the remaining unused reward amount will be forfeited. Birthday Rewards cannot be used on the same visit when a Welcome Reward is redeemed.

Edit: and $25 minimum

Thanks for your reply. I read somewhere that it depends where you reside as to whether you can use the rewards on alcohol. Hopefully somebody else from the UK will be able to answer whether they've successfully used rewards for alcohol in wither Yak & Yeti or Bubba Gump's.

Yes, think we'll have to wait for an actual experience of it

I did find the list of States, and Florida is included as ok for alcohol, but it also says that if you're state is not listed then you can't. Doesn't mention outside the US (other than BC and Toronto in Canada)

OK, thanks for that extra info. I think I'll get a Landry card & try my luck. Worth having for getting a table in Bubba Gump's if nothing else.
And if all else fails, it seems you can buy drinks from the bar with it at Rainforest Cafe bar in AK so I'm sure I'll get use from all my rewards.

They've stopped it as of this year. You can't use them together any more. We also used the full $50 last year but it's a definite no this year.

they are succeeding then.

It is a loyalty card, the main benefit being priority seating, the birthday bonus is just an extra for loyal customers.

(I don't include the sign up bonus as that is just the cover price returned - you already paid it.)

We used our second $25 on breakfast at Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom really nice and with discount only cost about $8 plus tip of course but it was nice and much less manic than it is later in the day, I hadn’t realised they did breakfast
