Atlantis water park Dubai advice.
We are here in Dubai and have moved from our city hotel to an all inclusive in the Deira islands (Riu dubai) we have another 3 days here but kids are a bit bored, so thinking if doing a water park. Looked into a taxi and it’s about £40 each way plus £60pp entry plus Food and drinks etc. As it’s going to cost around £400 ish for the day out. I thought I would ask if people think it’s worth it? How busy etc is it likely to be as it’s currently half term etc. Thanks.

It is a great water park. We went in the summer of 2018 and can’t remember it being overly busy. Whether it’s worth £400 or not, I wouldn’t like to say.

We went a few years ago just for the day. We only paid half price though through a promotion. I wouldn’t say it was worth £400 though. We have done wild and wadi (the other water park) a lot more as have stayed at hotels that have free entrance and it is as good as Atlantis. Would that be any cheaper?
We have also done the desert dune rides and a dolphin trip into Oman (perhaps not so easy note with covid restrictions crossing borders). Enjoy the rest of your stay

We have the entertainer app and wild wadi is two for price of one on that assuming that there is WiFi there so I can redeem the offer? I think we fancied Atlantis just so we could say we’d been, but if wild wadi is as good I will look into that.
What did you think to the dunes trip as thats another option? We are supposed to be in Florida now, so although we are enjoying it out here, we are missing our Florida fix. |

I would say the waterpark is actually better than those in Disney... there I said it!

Here you go
https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...2#post12401832 The first time we went it was empty but the second trip (this one) clashed with the local school holidays so it was a lot busier!

We were lucky to stay at Atlantis so it was free!
It's good but not sure it's worth spending £400. Have you looked at the theme parks? Might he better value if you are missing Florida.

I love Wild Wadi but always had free entrance via the hotel I stay in but I would pay to go there (far better than any I have been to in Florida) and wouldn’t pay extra for Atlantis as, I feel, one is paying for the name not the experience
