Hi Margaret
I am so sorry to hear your sad news. I lost my lovely husband in September after a very sudden terminal diagnosis, so l understand a little of the heartbreak you are feeling. l hope you have kind family and friends around you that can be there for you if you need them and to share some of the practical things that need to be done. While l am sure that you are in shock and disbelief at the moment when you feel strong enough there is a government website called "tell us once" that will take care of informing people like your bank, pension etc. which means you won't have to keep repeating the same awful news.
I wish there was something l could do to help you, but could l just say that just go with whatever you are feeling, if you want to cry or scream then do so, don't be afraid to let people help you or indeed tell them when you need to be on your own.
Mt thoughts and prayers are with you. Sending you a really big hug.
