LHR Immigration Time

Hi,

For those who have recently returned to LHR, how long is it taking to get through immigration?

Took me about 10 mins in terminal 3. All e gates open and fully staffed desks as well for those needing to see an agent. This was on the 28th November around 10am

About 5 mins this morning nothing more than a passport scan for uk passport holders
Just walk up stick your passports in the machine getnthe green tick and go
Some families with ikids had to stand in London line but for just a few minutes
Took like what for ever to get to T5 A gatets departing security again

In October I was expecting horrendous queues but we literally walked straight through.

I returned to T5 in early November, walked straight through much the same as I have many other times.

10 mins but 2 hours waiting for our suitcases!

Came through T5 last night, We had to see a officer rather than use the electronic gates as we had a 3 yr old with us.

Was done and dusted in 5 minutes ..

Unfortunately the luggage took about an hour to arrive..

These luggage arrival times are ridiculous.

Arrived back into LHR T5 Wednesday lunchtime. Auto gates were kicking 50% of pax out into extra security line. Took about 30 extra minutes for me to get through. Officer wanted normal details plus wanted to see proof of vaccine status and sight of PCR booking confirmation. Was glad it pulled me rather than hubby as I had all the details. Luggage took some time so by the time I got through he was waiting at the bottom of the escalator with the cases
