Virgin holidays booking 2022

We’ve booked aug 2022 with Virgin as a full package staying onsite today. We’ve done this 3 times previously pre-Covid and remembered after booking that they can be a nightmare with the Disney tickets to enable the booking linking. My husband has just said the booking says they won’t be releasing our Disney tickets until next July which obviously means we can’t book our parks. Has anyone had any recent experience of virgin releasing tickets early? Last time we had to cancel the virgin ticket and book with AA. We’ve only paid a deposit today so do understand virgins stance but it’s a bit catch 22 if we get to July and can’t book the parks. Happy to go with AA again if that would work better. Any advice would be appreciated.

I believe with VH, as long as you pay at least the ticket amount off they will then release the numbers so you can link to MDE. You don't have to wait until balance due.

However I wouldn't stress about booking park days yet, especially in August. They don't typically book out until a few days in advance. Shouldn't have any issues getting the parks you want at a month out.

I spoke to someone a couple of weeks ago and she said as long as you pay whats owed for the tickets they will give you ref number you need for your MDE app to book your parks.

I think what your husband has done is looked only at the "manage my booking" section, which they onle release the documents about a month before. But if you call them, they will give you everything you need for Disney. We've done it a few times and it's always been fine. Just called them up and got it sorted.
