Its 10 years since Ive been to Orlando & the parks and all this 'linking tickets' is a mystery to me?
Is it the same as adding tickets to your iPhone etc? If so, what about child tickets? my Grandson doesn't have a phone.

Have you set up My Disney Experience? If it has been 10 years since you’ve been I’ll presume not, sorry if I’m wrong. Google My Disney Experience and create an account (very straight forward). Not sure of family dynamics but you can create one account if all from one family or different accounts per family. I am the lead on my account and I added the rest of my family as it is easiest for us, and I manage their tickets etc. Once set up you link your tickets to your MDE by scratching off the silver foil on the back to get the whole number and you do this for each member on your account. From doing this you can book fast pass if onsite 60 days in advance or 30 days one day at a time if offsite, no more running for your life to get fast pass tickets for popular rides unfortunately at 30 days some not all of the really popular rides are not available. If you have magic bands these are also linked to your MDE and will have all the information on them save you carrying tickets around and taking them out for fast pass, entry to parks etc.
