Have you thought about changing what you eat?
I know that sounds a really obvious thing to put! It's just I've found by not eating breakfast I don't get hungry during the day and because of this the carbs I eat are far far less than ever before. ie. I used to have a couple of slices of toast or a small bowl of cereal in the morning but it seems like because I started the day with carbs my body then craved them the rest of the day, so I was hungry and ate more. Only a suggestion but I've gone through menopause and last year (inadvertently!), I started doing the above and by doing that (and not dieting, just eating totally differently) and exercising more (I play tennis three/four times a week) I've lost over 2 stone. I realise everyone is totally different but maybe just totally change up what you've always been doing. Good luck PS. Just seen that the poster immediately above me has written very similar!

nicksgirl, you’ve done so well, kicked cancers butt and are dealing with all sorts of emotions right now, please don’t beat yourself up about weight too, however, if you dont feel comfortable and want to shift some pounds then I can highly recommend TeamRH on Facebook.
It’s a no nonsense, no BS non fad diet, based on calorie deficit, all you need to lose weight, no restrictions just eating your set protein, fibre, carbs and fat each day, and based on the activity level you can safely manage, so 5000 steps a day if you wish, weights and resistance training is recommended but totally optional. Me and a few other dibbers are on it and we have our own social group on the Dibb, please feel free to drop by and ask any questions, it’s very cheap at £5 per month. I’ve lost a steady and sustainable 1lb per week since starting 15 weeks ago. Many women on the plan are menopausal, pcos, low thyroid etc and still lose. Whatever you choose, good luck and be happy! X
