Were here now. I took the kids out of school for 3 days and flew on 15th returning 4th Jan and paid 740 each direct from LGW. It was even more to fly once they had broken up. Coming back on 4th or 5th was the most expensive part though. Wev been at Christmas twice before and returned on 26th and 31st. Both were much cheaper than 4th.

We too are here now, didn't take the kids out of school - waited until term finished.

Will be flying back to get them in for the first day as well.

The flights were 629 each direct from Gatwick

We found really good flight prices a few weeks ago (you can't believe the restraint it took to not go this Christmas! ...I mean I don't know how we didn't book it! ). Anyway, 24th December to 31st December with Virgin, direct flights on an actual Virgin flight not partner, Gatwick to MCO with really good arrival time mid afternoon and late evening flight back to the UK). For 2 adults and 1 14 year old it was just under 1k! Which I think is amazing for direct flights and good flight times! The flight prices around those dates were much more expensive but I would have no problem arriving in Disney on Christmas Eve!

When we do eventually go to Disney for Christmas it will have to be around those dates because I am a teacher and DH normally has a big Christmas production to do just before Christmas.

Was that including luggage?

Great price, but we'd never be able to resist leaving booking that late! We're already looking to book flights for next Christmas 12 months in advance.
