Hotel opinions...have you stayed at Kings Inn or OLA Anaheim? What was it like?

Hotels hotels hotels...it's been driving me crazy!

We have a tight budget so I'm looking at cheap and cheerful. I've found a couple of hotels that fit my criteria, if you've been to either of them before what was your experience:

Kings Inn Anaheim and OLA Anaheim.

I had also looked at the Clarion Hotel Anaheim but it had very mixed reviews.

OR if you've stayed somewhere that was within our budget (around £500-£650 for 2 adults and 1 teenager - 6 nights in October half term) then let me know. Would love your opinions!

Just a thought - do you have any Tesco clubcard vouchers you could use with Hotels.com? I’m planning to do this for next year, and looking to stay at Best Western Plus Stovall In as comes with breakfast. So far I have £225 worth when converted, so is covering over 25% of the hotel cost.

Ah no that would have been good though, we use our Tesco vouchers for BA air miles. I might keep that in mind for another time though.

Oh wow, that looks so nice. It's out of the budget unfortunately but still very tempting! We have to be good on this trip as it was an impulse holiday and every bit extra we spend will be less for Florida next year.

We are considering this hotel for next year too... do you know how quick and easy it is to walk to the parks?

No, but looking at the map you enter the parks via Downtown Disney. Seems to be around 10 minutes - although there is a shuttle option if you don’t want to walk.

Hi, we just stayed here at Easter. Parking at the hotel was $10 and it took 15 minutes to walk to Disneyland and was with our 7 year old who walks slowly. The hotel was perfect for our needs. The decor was a bit dated but the room was clean and had a microwave and fridge. Breakfast was ok. Bagels, muffins, some hot choices (not nice) and plenty of coffee and lovely fresh orange juice. There is a restaurant next door which looked nice but we never tried it. You can see the fireworks from the hotel too. Pools are great but one is not heated. Plenty of restaurants 5 minutes drive away and also a Denny’s nearby too.

We stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites opposite Garden Walk.
Was maybe 10-15 minutes walk to the park, and we ended up with a room that had 2 double beds plus a separate bedroom. With breakfast it was around £450 for 4 nights.

Pool was rubbish, but we weren’t there to swim, so only used it once
