Budget for flights

Can anyone help me set a budget for flights for our April 2021 trip?
What sort of amount have people paid for flying around Easter that they thought was decent?
3 adults from Heathrow or Gatwick. Quite happy to do a stop as long as it's a decent length (and in the US on the way out). Actually on the way out would prefer a stop to direct to avoid MCO immigration but don't mind either way on the way back.
Just looking for a rough figure for working budget/savings out.

By around Easter I mean flying out over Easter weekend or a couple of days after at most.

We have been at Easter 2011, 2014, 2017 and going 2020. For 2020 I’ve paid £2090 for Heathrow-Miami with BA flydrive for 2ad and 2ch. My parents paid £1100 for flight only with BA/AA and no luggage. We booked the flights on release they booked their flights last week.
We are going April 5th to April 17th so will be there over Easter.
I paid £2600 in 2014 for Man- Mco indirect via Philadelphia.
I look for the best prices and play around with dates. I don’t mind going indirect either.
In 2017 we went on a Monday and left on Good Friday and the flights were 2k with United via New York.

we aim to get our flights for sept for around £2000 for the 4 of us

we have booked for next Easter flying Saturday to Saturday over the 2 week school hols but we are going into Orlando and out of Miami as we are on a cruise for the second week. We have paid £780pp with virgin via Atlanta out and JFK back in economy delight. We could have got cheaper but it meant arriving into Orlando much later or having longer layovers.
