Seems I'm in the same boat as a few of you as my outbound is okay. I just really hope now that if it's worth negotiating into next week then some progress is being made. Good luck all, hopefully we'll get further clarification soon and know either way where we stand.

what happens if they cancel are return flights IF there on strike i take it they have to get us back also can we claim extra accommodation costs etc through BA ? OR INSURANCE?

Also - keep in mind the nugget of compensation. If they cancel with less than 14 days notice you will be due the above plus potentially €600pp...

Strike's involving the airlines own staff do count as they are in the airlines control. Ryanair got dragged through the courts and forced to pay not so long ago due to pilot strikes. |
