Galaxy's Edge Reservations: Cancellation charges

Just a warning for anyone who hasn't read through the T&Cs. The Cantina has the $10pp cancellation charge if you don't show and don't cancel it atleast one day prior, but the droid building is $99 and the lightsabre $199. A costly mistake if you forget! (updated thanks)

The Lightsaber is actually $199.99 if you no show, here are the T&C's;

$199.99 Cancellation Policy

You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a per builder cancellation fee. If you fail to timely cancel or are a no show, the credit card provided at the time of booking the reservation will be charged $199.99 per builder.

sorry just double checked & you're right, I'll edit! I guess they really don't want people throwing away reservations which makes sense.

Glad you posted! I hadn’t read the fine print! I also booked for 2 but it’s only my sister building so best change it to 1.

I’ve seen a few people who booked for the party rather than the builder so hopefully they will see this , it makes sense though with the demand really. Everyone says it’s may be quieter but I don’t think so with yesterday’s release.

The Cancellation fee is no different to any other ADR you have. Which makes it imperative they have some way of getting those with reservations in with a different queue for them, as with any other breakfast reservation before Rope Drop, otherwise people will be missing their slot & classed as a no show resulting in having to pay a cancellation fee!

Yes I hope so, will be chaos otherwise with lots of unhappy being turned away for being late.

Atleast if you miss an ADR you are only charged a $10 cover charge per person. The activity reservations are charging the base price of the item. $200 for a lightsabre is a lot but $200 for missing your reservation would make me cry a Disney tear
