Hi, if you use dme do you have to collect your bags off the second bag drop or do they get collected for you?

If you are flying internationally, you have to deal with your own bags. As an aside, it is usually recommended to not bother with second bag drop.

Ok, thanks for that. I thought I could get them delivered to the hotel as was staying on site at Disney.

Oh you might be right, just found this, sorry.

I have always taken a taxi but am using it next time and thought I had to keep my bags with me (I am going to anyway as I will feel happier doing so).

Delivery is only for domestic flights as far as I know. US visitors get sent luggage tags for delivery with their magic bands.

That is what I thought #2. However in the link it describes the transfer service for international arrivals. (I still won't do it as it can take three hours to get your bags).

I believe you can have them delivered, but you would have to get them first and take them to the desk. So, no point, and you really don't want to be woken up hours later with your bags!

Ok thanks for the help. I think I will just take them with us. Probably going to have 5 cases though and will have 5 kids with us.😁

I think it would be better to keep them with you so you can have them soon after you arrive. You would have to take them most of the way by yourself anyway.
