What food can you not do without!

If some foods become difficult to get what can you or your family not do without?

After living in the Caribbean I am fairly used to changing our eating to what is available. I used to not decide what I would cook until I went to the shop to see what was available.

One day I met a holiday maker crying in a small supermarket as she had looked in several small shops and couldn't find a cauliflower she needed for a meal she was cooking. I did tell her that I had never seen a cauliflower on our island (this has definitely changed and now they are airfrieighted from the US)

So, what will you really miss if it runs out, I think I will miss milk but hopefully that's homegrown.

Cheese and chocolate. I could switch out most other things but not those.

Does wine count as food? Just asking for a friend.
