We're Gatwick but we've had no changes - still showing as 747, still showing LGW not LHR. We're flying 24th Sept returning 1st Oct...

Very strange as plenty of people from late October onwards have all been changed.

Oh I just love these threads! I’m sick of reading doom and gloom as it makes you feel very low! We are due to fly on 24th October and are feeling more and more hopeful every day now! I’m even feeling a bit more hopeful to being able to go on our cruise from there in October too now ... you can sometimes feel a bit nervous posting positive comments as people are so quick to disagree! Here’s to more positivity for us all and more importantly our planned holidays!

I’m positive too, we’ve just returned and have flights booked for September, December and March, each trip we will stay longer

Some days I'm positive for 24th Sept to LAX with BA and then I'll have a bad day but fingers crossed for all of us.

So we were supposed to go on the 18th March and I was still going on that plane until Saturday 14th March when Mr Trump included UK in the excluded list, so as far as September 25th, I am still on that plane until I am told anything different. You have to always look at things in a positive way. I am loving the UK weather at the moment and I am positive that it will keep my tan going until Florida

Going end of Oct and I’m pretty sure it will be on, providing the flights ( TUI) are running but in my mind they have to be because the travel industry needs money. I’m not at all worried about safely , this is going to be seasonal anyway from reports so like flu, just take usual precautions .

I have just managed to get through on the phone, took 46 minutes!

The lovely man at VA said that our flights are still going and that they may for logistical reasons still use the 747

So this is positive!

He said he doesn't know why they are sorting flights in the order they are doing but that everything is looking good for our holiday

Ooh, that's very interesting, we are supposed to go in October - I hadn't considered that we might still get a 747

I am late October and still no change to Heathrow for me. I am very hopeful when this is sorted that the trip will go ahead.
