The Blake-woods: 'you couldn't make it up' trip!

Hi everyone!

Well, lock-down boredom and the fact we should be on our way to Twilight check-in right now for this trip has got me finishing writing up the trip report for our last holiday in Feb 18.

The reason its called 'you couldn't make it up' is because our luck was so bad at the beginning and the end ... everyone literally said "are you joking? you could'nt make this up!"... they were right, and quite frankly, we wouldn't want to make it up!

we laugh now!

so...lets get on with it...

introductions!

Me: Kate age 33 at the time of our trip. I've grown up with Disney in my blood - having been numerous times since 1989, this was going to be a very different trip for me: my first time on-site! I am the chief planner as oh has never been to Florida before.

OH: Jason age 49 at the time of our trip. Although Jase has been all over the world, he's never gotten round to Florida. Though he has been to DLP.

SD1: Jessica age 12 at the time of our trip. First time on a long haul holiday. Very easy going, will go with the flow and looking forward to everything

SD2: Chloe age 10 at the time of our trip. Like Jess, first time on a long haul flight and can't wait for everything! very excited and has turned into a mini-me in terms of planning and discussing all things Disney

DD: Gracie age 11 at the time of our trip. Gracie visited Florida for her 2nd birthday and although has no memory of that trip, loves to remind everyone this is actually her 2nd trip Gracie is a coaster junkie like me and is overly excited!

DS: Tom age 8 at the time of our trip. Tom is a sensitive soul. He is very relaxed, easy going like Jess and just wants to soak up the atmosphere. He doesn't particularly like rides and refuses to go on anything that gives him 'that tummy feeling'.

and that is the 6 of us!

our trip was always called "The Blake-woods 'do' Disney" ... its a mash up of both of our surnames, with us being a blended family!

It's our first holiday together after being together for 4yrs.

staying at OKW for 5nights in a 2bed villa with DDP
staying 10nights in a DIBB villa
14day Disney tickets
14 day Universal tickets
Dodge 7 seater MiniVan for the entire stay

this is my first trip report so please bear with me! (plus it was now 2yrs ago so im relying off notes, pics and memories!)
