Villa or endless summer

This year is a right off.
So lets get planning for a month next year 🤞🏻
We will be staying in a villa. For the final week we can either stay in the villa or stay at universal Endless summer.
The other universal hotels are extremely expensive and a squeeze for a family of five (no one fancies a roll out bed)

Villa pro’s
more room, private pool and no need to re pack / un pack

Villa cons
Traffic ! The roads are increasingly busier every year. car hire. Parking cost (although would be 50% less as we have annual power pass)

Endless summer pro’s
Right near universal, early entry, we can walk to restaurants on international drive (never been before), experience a universal hotel, all be it a budget one. No parking charge, one week less car hire

Cons,
No private pool, i have heard the rooms can be noisy? Need to pack and un pack. Need a taxi to airport

Mmmmmm what to do?

We booked for endless summer this year but went on to change to a villa. Endless summer looks fun and I think the location is really good if you like to eat out on I drive. We were tempted by the reasonable price, on site perks and the fact we could manage without a car. The only thing we didn't like about it was the swimming pool has no deep bits. We changed to a villa when one of our older DC decided to gatecrash.
So, no actual experience but that's what we thought!

Look at Aventura that is an excellent hotel, a few minutes walk from Volcano bay and you can get the boat or walk to all the parks. It’s more expensive but stylish and worth the extra in my view. 5 would be a squeeze though so that may rule it out (I got two connecting rooms).

We did Endless Summer last August (feels like a lifetime ago now), we loved it, really clean and spacious, never had to wait for a bus, nicest hotel we've stayed at with the kids.

We stayed at endless summer in February this year. We would stay there again, we were on the top floor and never had any noise problems. Used universal transport to city walk etc everyday and didn't have to wait too long. We didn't really walk outside the hotel, only to Walgreens across the road, although there's ihop a little further, not sure of other restaurants near it. First time at a universal hotel, previous stayed in villas and most recently the Hilton, bonnet creek but we really liked this hotel for the convenience.
