Premier Inn refunded our non-flex room really quickly, not a voucher, although our booking was for tomorrow.

Hi I am having the same problem with SkyPark Secure. They have told me that I won't be getting a refund or voucher because it was a non-flex booking
I contacted the car park direct and they said that they were happy to relax their normal conditions, but it's up to SkyPark to refund or offer a credit note as they received my money. I definitely won't be using SkyPark Secure again. William

Holiday Extras
We paid extra to be able to cancel airport parking up to 48 days before travel. The website says that only vouchers will be issued. They say on their website that they are not answering phones nor replying to emails unless it is ‘urgent’. I think it is good of them to offer vouchers to people who have not paid for the cancellation insurance, but it seems wrong that they will not honour their ‘full refund’ promise which we paid extra for.
I wonder if those of you who have managed to contact them and managed to get a refund as you had paid the insurance could explain how I can contact them. |

I emailed basically to complain that the website was only allowing a voucher. We too had paid extra for the cancellable booking option. HE replied saying a refund would be made within 30 days on to the card used for payment. That was on 24/03/2020 but I’m not holding my breath. After changing the t & c’s to suit themselves I don’t believe a word they say !

I called them a few weeks ago. Asked for a refund. Even got an email due to a complaint as they had missold me anyway saying I could have a refund but a few days ago I got a voucher. Have sent another email to the complaints team and we will just have to wait I suppose

Now that is naughty of them. I really don’t want a voucher either especially as I paid for free cancellation. Husband is adamant he isn’t going abroad again. With a bit of luck he may change his mind but I don’t want to be stuck with a voucher just in case ! We have parking and a hotel in August as well if the trip to Jersey doesn’t happen.

Unbelievable... as explained in my previous post, we paid Holiday Extras an extra premium so we could cancel upto 48 hours before and receive a full refund. All emails are answered with ‘We are not here’; all phone calls give the message ‘ we are not answering calls’ and when I request a refund online {which I paid extra to be able to do so} they say I will get a voucher for the cost (excluding the premium I paid to be able to cancel! ) Surely this is illegal.

Well the awaited reply from HE arrived. A useless voucher despite an email received stating stating a refund would be made within 30 days. Not happy and I will be on to them again. I won’t be letting it drop though !
