As promised , an update on our Easter hotel and parking booking.
As of today, a full refund has been paid into my credit Card account. Never had to get shirty with them, but remained 100% factual as the accommodation was with Premier Inn, who had been clear that they would provide full refunds for ALL accommodation.
Lesson learned and 3 months too late. Holiday Extras are bottom of the list of anyone I would book with in the future.
Hope anyone who is still trying to get a refund gets their money and not a voucher

After having to cancel my overnight Airport Hotel and Car Parking I was offered a voucher by Holiday Extras for use in the future. I contested this and insisted that I was given a refund instead which they eventually agreed to. However about 2 weeks later I received an unpersonalised email from HE stating that they are no longer issuing refunds and that I will have to accept a voucher. Six weeks on, and totally out of the blue, I received a further email from HE stating that they are going to refund the cancellation in full within the next 3-5 days. The credit was applied to my credit card today. My message to other dibbers in the same boat is to persevere because it seems that they are now refunding cancelled bookings. Good Luck.

As far as I know they are refunding those that requested it in date order. I cancelled March 19th for April 3rd and was refunded around June 1st. It may be useful to those still waiting if you could put your cancellation date, intended travel date and day your refund was received.

Our dates were roughly that and refunded June 2nd - but hit my bank on the 6th - though I would wait until I saw it with my own eyes rather than their email!

I’ve contacted today to cancel my airport parking. I paid for cancellation and I’m livid that they have only issued a voucher (which doesn’t include cancellation), and in order to get a cash refund they will charge me £10, in admin fees!

Of course I’ve sent an email requesting full refund as I paid for “free” cancellation.

Received a response saying that they are dealing with requests for refund in date received order and are currently dealing with requests made on 9th April.

I’ve never had to cancel or deal with service like this before so not sure what my next move is. Do I have to wait almost 3 months before they even deal with the request and do they really have the right to charge a fee for a full refund then basically take that away as an ‘admin fee’.
