MK Memorial Day...
My birthday is on the 28th may which happens to fall on Memorial Day and our last night at Disney before we move on/go home (undecided).
Question is would it be mad to spend the evening in MK having dinner at BOG then watching the fireworks on this day? I’m assuming it will be crazily busy. It seems like a lovely way to end my birthday and possibly the last night of the holiday. I will have 2year old and 9 year old with us aswell |

It would certainly be an experience!
I was there a few years ago on Memorial Day when they held the 24 hour event. I have never seen so many people crammed into an area before in my life. It took 2 hours just to actually get out the park when I wanted to! Having said that, even though it will be busy, I can't imagine it being anything like that again. Because its your special day you'll enjoy it. Just make sure you get the ADR well in advance!

I would splurge on the dessert party if it's your birthday, then you have a guaranteed viewing area plus a LOT of cake to celebrate with.
Info here: disneyworld.disney.go/en...ty-plaza-view/ ETA: Personally I would do that instead of BoG dinner, and get a QS reservation for breakfast/lunch there instead. Edited at 12:40 PM. |

We were there over Memorial Day last year. I opted for Epcot over MK on Memorial Day itself thinking it would be quieter...I was wrong Epcot crowds were bigger than magic kingdom! It was manageable though so I’d just go for it.
