We’ve done exactly the same - precisely because DH doesn’t like handing his car keys over!

No parking rates have been loaded yet for 2019, think it’s something to do with the contracts not being sorted yet.

I’m waiting to book for May, or would normally have been out long ago so there’s definitely an issue.

We just got back and stayed at the Premier Inn North before flying. We booked parking separately through Holiday extras with Ace meet and great. You drop the car off at the Hilton hotel, which is attached to the North Terminal. We took our luggage up to Virgin Twilight Check in and then a short walk out of the terminal building to the Premier Inn. All very easy even with two small children!

We have just returned and used Maple Manor meet & greet parking, after a recommendation by Mr T on here, no problems on a 3 week park up, checked it out on my dash cam. Drive into short stay car park, car is photographed, and taken to compound (6 miles each way). Short walk to terminal, on return phoned them in baggage reclaim, walked across road to short stay, car there waiting, cases in and gone ! £83.00 for 3 weeks if you go onto their website and enter promo code MAPLE25 you should get 25% on price..

We stayed in the Premier Inn North last Friday before flying on Saturday.
Parked up at 3.30pm on the Friday and got the reduced rate for overnight parking from the PI staff namely £25.

Then just moved it to the area where Maple Manor take it away.

I will never leave my car in a car park where people are going past with suitcases so I hunted around for 10 mins until I found a corner space I liked.

My friend had to have the entire side of his Volvo resprayed.
