Add driver once booked and paid?

Hi, we are due to go out in April and I booked car through Andy at DFCH after some great advice on here.

At the time, I only put OH down to drive as I did in 2016 and it was fine. However, family are now joining us and it will be clear that although we will have 2 cars between 2 of the 3 parties, I might be better off adding myself as a driver just to give us a little more flexibility when we are there?

Does it usually cost extra to do this?

I've also paid in full and printed out the skip the counter bar code so it's all done and ready. By amending something, might it cause a problem?

Which package have you booked with Andy as he normally does the 1 driver and 4 driver package.

I would ask Andy to look at it as he can do a 2 driver contract sometimes. He is very helpful.

One and only time we had to do,it cost us a fortune we'd have been better hiring a second little car whichnwe now do I've we arecat the villa longer than 2weeks if we don't get a second driver free
I'm March it was also cheaper for DS1and DiL to hire a basic car and a SUV for them from Andy than take the 4driver option

Additional driver is $13-$15 per day so very expensive option. Usually much cheaper to book the 4 driver option which includes the tank of fuel. Drop me a quick email and I'll take a look for you.

When we hired three cars through Virgin/Alamo for 28 days in July we were issued with demands for around $340 each on returning them being the cost of having named a second driver on each car which I presume is the non pre-booked rate. However, Alamo had made a mistake in that our bookings already included a second driver so they had to refund them. Definitely pre-book.

It's not strictly necessary tbh but I though it would give flexibility and the fact that the men have said tonight 'I'm not doing long shopping afternoons with you lot'

I don't want my mum to have the hassle of driving and my sis will be too nervous so I thought it may solve a problem as I might regret it once we are out there and they all want to sit by the pool for several afternoons!
