Disney water parks or aquatica?

Hi all,

Planning a split stay 10 nights Disney/6 idrive in a hotel or villa (if hotel then hopefully one with a waterpark). We are doing DC so will get aquatica tickets thrown in. My question is, would you hit the parks for 10 days (wouldn't do 10 full days). Then head to idrive and do seaworld, aquatica etc, missing out the Disney water parks, or are they worth going to and missing time for other parks?
Have been before for 4 nights and didn't do the waterparks but spent a lot of time in the hotel pool as daughter loves the water! But my idea is that we do a full on (but also fairly paced) 10 day Disney parks, then a relaxing 6/7 days at the other parks.
Thanks!

We prefer Aquatica to be honest so if time is a problem i would miss out the Disney Waterparks.

If the kids like the water parks then do both.

To be honest if you go in summer you'll get from 10 to perhaps 2.30 in the water parks before they close for afternoon thunder, don't let them kid you the water park will reopen usually you just wait freezing for 2 hours then they close so you can easily do a water park in the morning and theme in the evening; 10 days is loads for disney MK one day AK one day HS 1/2 day and EPCOT 1/2 day unless you want to visit loads of restaurants... so 6 days free.

I enjoyed aquatica as it wasn't a huge place to navigate
