The only time we have had to call the transport is when staying offsite. We did Disney in September and like those before got the MDE envelope the day before with our pick up time.

Last year I was told to ring the transport office, inn short if Disney either haven’t been given or haven’t stored your flight details then you will need to call them so they can give you the right bus times, if they hold the details then you don’t need to call them.

We have done a DIY package and booked our flights separately. We don't need the DME at the start but will need it on return to the airport at the end of our holiday. Do Disney ask for your flight information closer to the time of check-in?

When you book in request MDE for your return tell them your flight number. I would double check 48 hours before you leave.

How long before your flight do they normally pick you up?

For international flights it's normally 4 hours. Ours was an indirect flight with AA this year and it was 4 hours even though the first leg was domestic. I did ring transport as the original request had a incorrect flight number. Did speak with reception who could view request on their system and could amend or print if required.

Did you pre-book the magical express? It's not something the TA generally books, so most people pre-book it themselves.
