it still worked out much cheaper for us with Norwegian, even when I added the bags and meals.

Easily £400 pp cheaper. (I booked new years day for this October)

Exactly.

Just looking at some random-ish dates (for the time we are looking to travel) ... Norwegian Premium (which includes 40kg of luggage, meals, fast track, seat reservation, lounge access, etc) is £720pp cheaper than Virgin economy; Norwegian economy is over £1k pp cheaper - that's an awful lot of additional bags and food

Rather than a daily, rolling release, I think they release in blocks - either months or seasons or some other.

I was interested in booking Norwegian for this Oct. However when I was looking for flights at the end of last year, they had only released up until the first week of October and then it stayed on that for at least 6 - 8 weeks.
In the end I gave up waiting for the dates to be released and booked BA.
To be honest, I just assumed Norwegian had discontinued the flight as I couldn't understand why they weren't releasing anymore dates.

I booked Norwegian for 19th May next year a few weeks ago. Strange that they are only showing March for you. My flights were from LGW to MCO.

Gatwick is showing up until July - where do you want to fly from?

We gave up waiting for Norwegian to release their return flights for Easter and booked with someone else. By the time they released return flights, the outbound ones were around £450, which is roughly what we've got our entire flight for.

We'll look at Norwegian next time we go, but we won't hold out for them if the entire trip isn't available.

One thing that put us off Norwegian was the seat configuration of 3 3 3 - is this the same for all Dreamliners? We're a party of 4, so would be split up.
