Mobile Whispering Canyon - sharing a main meal?

Dh really wants to go to whispering canyon at Wilderness Lodge, I'm happy to try it, and I would want to try the skillet...which he would want aswell, would they be ok with us ordering one and sharing it? There's no way I would be able to eat one on my own! We're on the ddp. The kids won't eat much on it so would order them a kids meal even though they're on an adult plan.

Because the skillet is all you care to enjoy, it's priced like a buffet so a fixed price per person with no splitting available.

AFAIK, you could split other meals as they're a la carte - just not the skillet.

It's states on the menu the skillet is price per person regardless of how much or little of it you eat.
It's delicious, can wait to have it again next year

Thanks, I knew it said it was for one but was wondering if anyone had managed to order it and share it lol. I really want to try it but there is no way I would even get a 1/4 of the way through. Wonder if I could order the kids version? Hmmm. Might have to rethink this one!

You don’t get one skillet person. The food is placed all together on one skillet, depending how many have ordered it.

The childrens version is the same size and comes on the same skillet as the adults. We ordered a child and adult and they shared one skillet. Its also not included on dining plan for child's meal we paid $14 extra and saved a child table credit which we used on snacks on our check out day (8 snacks)

Oh I seeeeee... I was presuming that when you see the skillet on pics with 80 bits of chicken and 60 corns (yes slight exaggeration) that was for one person! So if we both ordered it, we wouldn't get 2 separate skillets filled to the brim, we would get one skillet filled to the brim between the 2 of us?

Yes, single skillet and the size seems to vary depending how many people order it. I've seen little baby skillets with only 1 or 2 corn cobs on it, right up to the massive platters. They just bring more if you manage to get through the first round.

But it is a big reason why I mostly avoid buffets/AYCTE meals, won't even get through one plate let alone multiple!

If you are on the DDP just order it for 2 and eat what you want. If your kids have adult credits surely you will have plenty anyway?
