i honestly dont know. I went on the app which wouldnt load the seats so went on desktop site (on my phone) as I just wanted to see how many seats avail. It let me do it for free so I did. I assumed it was a glitch which is why I put it on here incase anyone else could too.
Its an O class fare if that makes any diffence

Both of those that have said they got free seats have very short departure dates. When I had a Twitter DM conversation with VA they did say there were certain exceptions, maybe one of those is bookings due within the next however many weeks ... They wouldn't tell me the criteria though.

O class is one of the cheapest codes, more to do with the fact you travel next month I'd have thought, what date?

Yes, must be on the desktop site. Just comes up as £0 cost ignore any pop ups? You can also upgrade the classic fares now if there's availability. Saving our miles though.

The only popup I get is the one at the beginning saying about booking before 17th March. There is only the cross at the top right to get rid of it. I even selected seats and went through to the payment screen but it still wanted the £120.
