Tui says there is no ddp !

As the title says...I popped in today to ask if they will be taking part once released she said Disney have told them categorically there is no ddp this year. There will be a different kind of offer but not that!

Oh dear.. I hope to god she's wrong but then j keep thinking of ocean Florida and my magic holidays who have both said they'd honour ddp if released... I assumed they had a heads up from Disney but now I'm thinking may be they just say this to get a booking early?!

If a Travel Agent told me today was Tuesday 3rd April I would get my phone out to double check.

With all their penny pinching currently I would not be surprised if Disney reduce or remove the free QSDP for moderates and DDP for delux. Dummy price runs show you can add it, but its the usual price rather than free.
If they have started charging for cars at the resorts I think its only a matter of time before this is reduced or removed. Hope not as it will be a deal breaker but it wont last forever I fear.

Most TUI staff couldn't tell you where Florida is so I'd take anything they say now with a very big pinch of salt.

But surely... they would have to remove and amend all menus to remove symbols... people are already unhappy with the charging for parking if they take this away I seriously think it would damage their profits!

Virgin have mentioned it on their website (re having to buy park tickets to get the free dining offer) as have My Florida Holiday. Other Dibbers have also had live chats with VH and TC and have been told free dining should be out any day now! Hard to know who to believe!

On other threads TUI have told people they’re not doing free dining but that’s not to say other TAs are doing the same...or that what TUI are saying now is the truth!

Of course pricing up now shows you can add it, the offer hasn't started yet and you can always add DDP to a booking. Don't see what you're trying to say at all there.

They would still have the DP just not a free one.

It wouldn't make any difference to the menus as there's still the option to buy the dining plans, so the menus would stay as they are for those that decide to do that.
