Yes I had planned to ask to downgrade from X3 to suburban but there is no contest when offered a German suv over American plastic.

We travelled with others so it was great as it cut down on the Disney parking rip off through car sharing.

I had previously emailed Alamo who had confirmed a downgrade would be ok if stock allowed.

There are on four of us travelling so to be honest a Q7 or similar would be more than adequate. Our friends have just returned from Florida and they had a ford explorer which they loved.

Wondering if anyone has had one of these from Miami recently, if so what did you get ?
Ps. Anyone ever had a Range Rover in this group?

Arrived here on Wednesday, they had a Maserati Levante waiting for us. Sat nav and Sirius xm as standard. What a machine!

So arrived in Miami Airport after a cruise and was shown by the Alamo manager to a Cadiliac SRX, it was nice but looked small. Asked if there was anything else and he pointed to an Infinity, again ok but looked smallish. I looked around and there were plenty if Ford Expeditions and jeep grand cherokes. Asked manager if I could have one and he said pick what you want. Found a lovely dark grey Grand Cheroke limited edition which was fully loaded with gadgets and working satnav. Lovely car, drove up to Orlando and well pleased. I know its a lower group and know there will be no price refund but am more than happy with this SUV than the premier ones I was offered.

Most of the premium cars don’t have keys in them. You have to ask for them. I had to to get a top of line 300c platinum

Good blag. The Q7 is great.

To anyone offered a Q5 be aware you are not getting a German built car but a Mexican one... even if you buy a new one in the UK! Q7 Bavarian, Q5 Mexico
