We used ba transfers last year and would not recommend them at all. We spent an hour trying to locate our driver after we arrive, numerous phone calls to the company and eventually we had to go to the garage and try and find him after being told he would be at costa waiting for us. If we do the Heathrow to Gatwick transfer again I would just use the National Express Bus a lot less hassle.

Flew from Edinburgh into Heathrow this summer and had to transfer to Gatwick for our flight to Barbados. We booked a transfer through Blackberry Cars which I found recommended on here. It was £60 for 3 of us including luggage. Driver was waiting for us with a name board as we cleared security and we reached Gatwick North terminal in just over an hour/ maybe 70 minutes I think. This was on a Sunday afternoon. We stayed overnight at Gatwick and flew out in the morning. Can’t fault the service from Blackberrt and would use them again.

I noticed last year they had a few bad reviews so was wondering if they had problems with too many people using them. But dissapointing to hear a few dibbers have had issues recently. They are not affiliated to BA but the link I posted above are a BA approved partner.
Must admit I would have used them before now not so sure. Some good dibb reports some bad. More interested in the bad ones because that is a true indicator of a company. Its amazing how many taxi companies use the costa and toilet tactic or maybe over the years I have been unlucky |

Reporting back on our experience doing a Heathrow to Gatwick transfer a few weeks ago
We used Blackberry Cars - it cost us £60 plus tip for an estate car (would have been £55 for a saloon) to pick up at our hotel (Park Inn) and drop us at North Terminal. Great driver, no problems. We'd used Blackberry once before with a not-so-good experience, but decided to try them again, and this time everything worked really well. I guess a lot of it is down to the particular driver assigned to your job, so experiences may vary. |
