Guide Book Recommendations for LA

Hi,

Planning a trip in a a few years but a tad confused about which areas are best to stay in etc. I know we'll probably need to stay in 2 different locations.

We will probably do a couple of days in Disneyland & then spend time doing things like Universal, Hollywood Museum & Warner Studios. Hubby is a big movie fan so will want to need out on as much of that stuff as possible. Also curious if there are any decent outlets for Disney like Orlando.

I thought a guide book might help & would love some recommendations from you lovely people and/or vloggers worth watching. I already watch Ordinary Adventures but their vlogs are not giving me all I need 😁

Tia.

How long are you planning to stay, for most people 2/3 days Disney and 2/3 days for the rest. Depending on what else you plan to do, Vegas , PCH, San Fran, Yosemite. San Diego.

I think probably a week, but that's one of the things I need to work out.

Hubby very keen to go to San Fran so we could do that too (extra days) - maybe by train, in which case we'd do that first.

I do have arthritis so need to pace myself & have time to rest up.

I bought books before our first Cali trip but none of them were as useful or helpful as the posts and trip reports on here

That's what I was worried about. I just have so many questions, worried I'll wear out the Dibb. I'll take a look at some trip reports 😊

San Fran is great and so much to see. The drive up or down the coast is simply spectacular, highly recommend driving over 2/3 day period with perhaps 2 1 night stops. If you can have a longer stay then 2 n Monterey/Carmel
