Depending on the time of day, I'd get the train from Luton Airport to Gatwick Airport. During the day the is a direct train around every 15 minutes and it takes between 1hr20m and 1hr40m. By car is a similar time, depending on the traffic on the M25 or the coach transfer takes a couple of hours.

Lots of info here londontoolkit/travel...n_transfer.htm

Did your airline rebook you to Luton and if so they should be providing this as they cancelled your original flight.

They did but don’t think it’s an obligation.

Very much doubt they will as both Gatwick and Luton are classed as London airports. It will be buried deep in their T&Cs.

It is. They should pay to get you to your orginal airport. Doesn't matter what the T&Cs say as they cannot override your legal rights.
