Car Hire collection time?

Hi. I've booked a flight and car custom trip with BA. We arrive at LAX at 2.40pm but just noticed the car hire isn't scheduled until 7.10pm for some reason. Will it matter if I collect early? Will it effect the Avis Preferred pick up?

Our pick up times for car hire next year are all over the place aswell, we land in Miami at 3pm and the car hire pick up is down for 7.15pm. I've tried to change it on the avis app but it wont let me save the differences and there is no point trying to call them. I did speak with them over twitter regarding a seating issue last week & they were really helpful, so maybe they could help.

I don't know the answer otherwise, but we're in the same boat!

I contacted them on Twitter and they amended the time for me
