Flying via ATL

Hello we are look at returning aug 22… I’m feeling like we need to get cracking with booking…

Has anyone flew to ATL and had a stay over to see Atlanta ?
Is there anything to do? Thought it might be something different whilst we are stopping.

I’ve dropped off and had four days at Pigeon Forge which is amazing. I believe there is a great zoo in Atlanta plus you have the Coca Cola factory and the six flags theme park nearby.

Wizzo has a Trip repor where he flew into Atlanta and visited it before driving down to Orlando, from his trip report I would do it.

We did a road trip, stopping at Atlanta, about 8 years ago. But I quite liked it for a couple of days. We stayed in the Loews, which was great. We did the world of Coca Cola, the cnn studio tour, the art museum (I can’t remember the name), and the puppet museum. I wanted to do the botanical garden, but was outvoted Six flags and Stone Mountain (I think that’s what it’s called) are drivable.
On our way to Asheville and gatlinburg (both recommended), we stopped by the cabbage patch (doll) hospital, which was a surreal experience! 😂 and was free. I’d stop there again for a laugh
