What is the difference between the MGM Grand and Signature at MGM Grand?
Looking at booking the MGM Grand for August, because of the pool and lazy river. What is the difference between the MGM and Signature at MGM Grand? Which should I book?

MGM Grand is the large hotel - MGM Signature is a collection of three tower blocks to the rear of the MGM Grand. Signature is lovely - some amazing rooms and great views.

The Signature is a complex of 3 towers built to the rear of the MGM Grand where the MGM theme park once was. Tower 1 is closest to the MGM, whilst tower 3 is the furthest but has an exit to the side which is not that far from Planet Hollywood.
There is no casino in the Signature but it is connected to the MGM via a walkway. They are both decent places to stay, the Grand has over 5000 rooms, varying from standard rooms to large (and expensive) suites and is a massive complex with loads of place to eat, drink and shop. The Signature rooms are mainly suites and have a small kitchen. You can access the pools and lazy river from whichever one you choose to stay in. |

The rooms at the Signature are fabulous and it is totally non smoking, can't comment on the rooms at the MGM but the casino was very smoky last week. The resort fee is $25 a day at the signature and the parking is valet but its still worth every penny! Pussycat

The Signature suites are (as the name suggests) part of a non gaming group of 3 tower blocks containing suites, including a kitchen.
The MGM mainly consists of your usual casino type hotel room. Personally I would always go for the suites as they do give you a little more freedom when it comes to dining! Room service is available in both!

I meant to add that if you stay in the Signature suites you can use the pool at the MGM.

The Signature are all suites most with balconies, the pools are alot quieter and relaxing but you have access to MGM pools too.
Never stayed at MGM but would highly recommend the Signature.
