Thanks everyone From the replies on here it looks like I may be best changing hotels then. Am I right in thinking the locations of New York New York and Linq is better than the Luxor then? I do like the idea of staying in a Pyramid though 🤔 I don't know what to do now! NY NY Linq or Luxor?

Definitely. Luxor is right at the end then NY NY is opposite the MGM so on the main drag and then the linq is pretty much in the middle

I had a free night at Luxor last year.
I much prefer the location of the Linq and in all honesty I did not like the layout of the Luxor even with the free upgrade they gave us.
I've not stayed at the Linq since it was renamed and refurbished but given the choice of only those two the Linq would win.
Even free I wouldn't go back to the Luxor in A hurry. It wasn't horrible but in ten trips to Vegas it's my least favourite hotel.

We were in the tower but my friend didn't get an upgrade so was in the pyramid and isn't a sicky person but nearly threw up in the elevator with its weird sideway motion (due to the pyramid shape).

It would be between Linq and NYNY for me. Just for location as its more in the middle of the strip I would give the Linq a try. Heard some very good things about it. Nothing at all wrong with NYNY and I would happily stay there as well. If location is an issue would go with the Linq.
Staying in a pyramid may sound good but once inside its just a hotel. I found it quite dark inside. Good luck with your choice.

Luxor does not have much going for it these days, its past its best for sure and the location is not great, though it is linked via covered walkways to Excallibur and the MB.

The link is in a much better location, its not a new hotel but its gone through a massive refurb, I not stayed there but I believe the rooms are quite small.

Watch out for those sneaky resort fees, they are over $30 a night now at Ceasers resorts

We stayed in both last year. NYNY at beginning of holiday and Luxor at the end. New York is a much better hotel location wise and I only booked the luxor as needed somewhere for the last 2 nights of my hols, had it cheap but wished we had booked further up the strip. I wouldn't choose to stay there again. The Linq is in a good central location.
