Vera will soon be no more

It was announced to day that the 14th series of Vera will be the last with 2 120 minute episodes being filmed this summer for broadcast in 2025.

I know the show is a bit "Marmite" but you can't deny the worldwide popularity of the show.

Brenda is a great actress with great cast. I will miss it when it finishes.
If you havent seen it would recommend "Saving Grace" with Brenda in it. I think it was a Doc Martin prequel type film.

We love it. As much for spotting the local sites as for the drama. It will be a shame to see it go

We love it - and so much of it over the years has been filmed in our town and surrounding area. Brenda Blethyn is always so friendly to any onlookers.

My daughter and I loved watching Vera and will miss it. Always remember the little girl who dressed as Vera for World Book Day😍
