You haven't seen my Wife checking the packets of ham! 95% gets rejected.

That's why we don't have food delivered.

I’m exactly the same with sell by dates ! I have a rummage as far back as I can for most chilled items unless I plan to freeze them when I get home.

Last week we had to queue outside our large M&S foodhall but that’s the first time since summer.

On a tangent - they’re getting some fab Christmas food & drink in !

I'm told we get through 6 packets of their ham a week but I just hover whilst it's being selected.

When my Wife had her hip replaced I had to shop and I got told off for bringing home what was described as dog food.

So it is - just checked. We shop at what they call the Gyle (which is still in Edinburgh). It does say you don’t have to book and can just turn up but we would have to queue if busy. We have stopped shopping at the weekend so I think that helps. Will book a slot now that I know though.
